Elie Saab Spring Summer 2018 Haute Couture.

“Paris est une fête”

Oh Elie Saab…*siiiigh*…you always out-do yourselves! With a romantic palette and dresses wrapped in oversized bows, this ode to 1920’s Paris had me swooning and, of course, pencil-in-hand ready to sketch. Although inspired by the 20s, the pieces elegantly oozed timelessness – well, I’d certainly wear them any decade, that is if I could be miraculously flung into the past or future. Ah…if only!

Whist sketching (and writing this post actually), I was overcome with extreme nostalgia about my trip to Paris back in October! Nevertheless, ‘Paris is a moveable feast’ – well, with the help of a vivid imagination anyway.
